  Absolutely loved our 3 night stay at the Hotel de Bootel. When I entered the house boat, I felt a really lovely sense of calm, the space is generous. I reckon children from 7 up are best. As I walked around the home, I could feel a sense of awe and wonder! The boat is perched on the edge of the water and there is a bath perfectly placed overlooking the water. Over the few days we visited the design museum in Den Bosch, and the World Skate place. The location is fabulous, just at the endge of Den Bosch, a 10-15 minute leisurely walk from the Jumbo in the centre of Den Bosch. Just beside the houst boat is a set of towers that have been painted and are absolutely gorgous, and you can sit in the bath and admire the art on the tower or you can see the other way in the bath and admire the ducks in the water, ans wave to the rowers. This place is little bit magical; a treat and I will never forget it.

  One year later we had again an overwelming and very beautiful stay at Hotel de Bootel. It was such a pleaser to be back at this wonderful place. Wow! Still quite, clean and also entertaining because of the boats with a lot of friendly people driving close and interact, this was very funy and gives a feeling of knowing eachother like in a small village. The kitchen was very functional, the badroom big enough and we realy liked the additional toilet. We were 5 friends enjoying our stay a lot and will come back for sure! Ik kan het ten zeerste aanbevelen, we waren dolblij!

  Beautiful spot, plenty amenities, and close to the city center. The place was spotless upon arrival and the owner is responsive and polite. The only drawback is the stairs leading down to the water. They're slim, uneven, and without handrail. If you have trouble walking, I wouldn't recommend this place unless you have someone to hold on to.
